Reckless Intentions

Death Wish Clothing is proud to welcome Reckless Intentions to the Death Wish Crew!  The energetic pop-punk 4 piece from Brighton formed back in 2016.  Reckless Intentions spent their first year developing their own unique take on pop-punk and gaining a following in Brighton’s thriving scene.  Check out lead vocalist Matty repping Death Wish below!

The band released their debut EP ‘Lights‘ in the summer of 2017!  The 5-track release is filled with infectious melodies, heart-hitting lyrics and raw guitar work.  You can listen to the EP on Spotify.

We are proud to announce that Southampton based melodic hardcore/metalcore band Placeholder have joined the Death Wish Crew!

Having formed in late 2017, Placeholder emerged from the ashes of a previous project.  Despite only being together for a short period, Placeholder have quickly, but surely worked to create a powerful section of songs.  The band consists of Calum Stone (vocals), Stuart Devlin (guitar), Jason Langdon (guitar), Ben Lemoual (bass) and Corey Dixon (drums).  You may recognise lead vocalist Calum modelling the new Death Wish range!

The bands debut EP ‘Grey’ was released on the 1st January 2018.  As well as ticking all the boxes for an excellent debut release and showcasing their outstanding talent; Placeholder introduced a guest vocalist, established YouTuber: Christina Rotondo for the track ‘Relief’ which you can listen to here.  For a debut release the band are at a professional standard and have already set the bar very high!

Placeholder are looking to make 2018 their year, playing shows across the South Coast of England and working tirelessly to broaden their horizons.  With the single ‘Relief’ gaining 18,000 views on YouTube and ‘Grey’ peaking in the top 3 of the iTunes Metal charts upon its release, this is a band you DO NOT want to sleep on.

Death Wish Clothing is proud to welcome Oxford’s heavy hitting pop punk lads!  If you like A Day To Remember you’ll love One State Drive!

One State Drive started out under the name of Coast to Coast back in 2013, the band broke apart for a year.  The guys then reformed with a new lineup and began work on their self titled EP.

After their self-titled EP release the band released a music video to the track “Crowds” and a playthrough for their cover of One Direction’s track “Kiss You” – be sure to check these out!

The lads have been busy gigging around the country since 2014 but still found time to release their second EP “It Ain’t Cheesy Being Easycore”.

You can check out their latest music video “Ouchtown, Population You Bro!” here.  These guys are ones to watch!

This event was MASSIVE!  District went all out to hold the biggest and best Alt Ball ever and we would like to take this moment to say thank you to the incredible District team for having us!

Our Hollow, Our Home kicked things off with an epic DJ set featuring metalcore and rock anthems as well as bit of alternative and finishing with their smashing cover of Ed Sheeran’s ‘Shape of You’.

Mallory Knox stepped up next onto the decks and absolutely wrecked it!  These guys have been working their way up the UK pop rock scene and have played huge sold out shows and some massive festivals.  Playing classics, alongside some Don Broco, Bring Me The Horizon and closing with ‘Lighthouse’.  It’s safe to say it’ll be a DJ set to remember!

Death Wish Clothing Giveaway!  We joined the stage to host our BIGGEST ever giveaway to a huge crowd.  T-Shirts and Dad Caps were flying out!  As well as one lucky person who caught the Death Wish SnapBack.  Well done to everyone who managed to catch some free goodies!

Headliners Modestep took to the stage and smashed their DJ step.  It’s clear to see why these guys are taking over the world!  A mix of high energy, light shows in combination with dubstep, drum & bass and rock.

We managed to catch Mikey and Dave after their DJ Set to give them some exclusive Death Wish lighters, massive shout out to the Mallory Knox lads for taking time to talk to us!

The party wasn’t just inside though, outside hosted massive indies tunes and Union BBQ grilled up some tasty food!

Yesterday we held our first ever GIVEAWAY event at the District Freshers Party run by the amazing team at District Club UK held at Republic in Reading!  As many of you will know Reading is a special place for us at Death Wish as it is our hometown.  Well done to all the winners who managed to catch some free clothing!  We had a great time meeting all you party goers and wish you the best with your studies!  We heard over 600+ of you turned up which is pretty rad!

Our lucky winners managed to get their hands on our signature Death Wish Cross Tee and one lucky lad managed to catch the Death Wish Dad Cap!  We also had lighters available up for grabs from our table.  We would like to thank the District Club UK team for being amazingly helpful and for inviting us to their Freshers Event.

Another shout out to JON MAHON for hosting an amazing DJ Set – and for rocking the Death Wish Dad Cap to give the crowd a bit of a promo before the giveaway!  He kept the room energetic for over 2 hours – including some trolling breakdowns which went down a treat!
